it's with great pleasure i introduce aphrodite wishbringer as the march 'motorati calendar girl'. i've known her for about a year and she's one of the sweetest people i've met in SL... she's been oh-so-patient with me, waiting for a modeling opportunity, and i'm honored she agreed to be march's motorati calendar model!!!

i'm a bit late getting out the calendar due to blogging bugs, and other technical difficulties, but i think it was worth the wait!!!

you can pick up her calendar tomorrow afternoon on the motorati girls store on the 'ride' sim...

•••G8 IS GREAT••• and you saw it FIRST in SL

how cool is this??? the FIRST TIME EVER THAT PONTIAC'S NEW G8 WAS SHOWN WAS IN SECOND LIFE!!!

ok now THAT is cool and there was a little press party to get sneak peaks... the car is VERY cool and it has LOTS of horses powering it, forgot how many, but a LOT...

some cool reporters from the herald, metaverse, AD WEEK, and more showed up to take pics and get some info on the car from winston and the pontiac answer man!



ally, set up a nice food table so everyone could have some snacks and toast the "new car", and how cool, we saw it before the people at the AUTO SHOW!!!

wow!!!

after the "unveiling" we took a group shot, and people got a little crazy and drove cars INSIDE the dealership!!!



and look how many people can fit on the solstice!!! woo hoo!!! i know we could have fit more, but you know...

•••MMMOTORATI MOMMMENTS •••

WOW the motorati sim has been humming for the past few weeks with lots of fun events, contests, and so much more... things are really coming together and the GRAND OPENING event was LOADS OF FUN and NOT a lot of LAG!!! hurray for that...

ally, my partner in crime, (and feb's calendar girl) and i played "game show hostesses" for the "LET'S MAKE A DEALERSHIP" game where av's who came "dressed up funny" (uh it's SL, isn't eveyone a bit 'funny'?) were chosen out of the crowd to win some pretty cool prizes.

some won cars, cash, swiming pools, and even a peacock was awarded to a lucky winner.

it was a fun night and a great way to "open" and celebrate "car culture" on the pontiac sims. i spotted elvis in the crowd, which proves he is not dead, and at the after party, we spotted some other celebrities who aparently are alive and well!!! i got close enough to one rocking left handed guitar player, and well, as you can see, it was a party that NO ONE wanted to miss... i was in awe and even saw a bit of haze as he "glowed" and i think it WAS indeed purple...

scuse me... while i... kiss the sky?

test driving is FUN

OMG, the new pontiac solstice GXP ROCKS!!! me and kiana, my sister and partner went car shopping on the motorati sim.
after looking at LOTS of cars... we decided on the new solstice GXP from pontiac... it's FAST, customizable, and a hoot to drive! i got up to 90 MPH before going off roading!!!

hehe... it was so much fun...

and they are so affordable too! only 600L, and its like getting a ton of cars with all the color, wheel changes, etc.

off for shopping spree!!!

girlz just wanna have fun!!! so ally and i decided, time to quit working on the build and get out and do a little christmas shopping!!!

we had a great time, wore our cute matching pea coats, and my "bliss jeans", and we even took our matching lil poodles! and what fun would christmas shopping be without reindeer antlers and a candy cane??? well, not much fun... so we made sure to have all we needed ;)

and, having our pockets stuffed with linden's made for a fun afternoon!!!

but don't worry, we'll be back to work soon!

it's SO much fun to have visitors stop by when i'm working, and this day was every so memorable!!! you know what they say about women drivers???? well "It's all TRUE" haha, just jokin' sorta.. well first off i LOVED this car, it was like the coolest car i've seen in SL, and though i kept having to RUN to get away from being hit, i did take a closer look ;)

the driver was having a hard time turning and stuff, but managed to drive IN MY SHOP and back out!!!

i love the expression on her face on the way out!!! i was luckily able to keep my new christmas puppy (ty ally!!!) out of the way, so no one was injured...

so yet, another fun day at the motorati sim...

ya just never know what will happen!!!
